STRENTHENING UNITY AND PLANNING FOR PROGRESS OF CACOTADO IA, INC.

.July 31, 2024 - The NIA Aklan-Capiz Irrigation Management Office (ACIMO) conducted an IA Assessment and Planning Workshop for the CACOTADO IA, Inc. in Dongon West, Numancia, Aklan to assess current initiatives and devise strategies to enhance the association's overall output.

With the full support of Engr. Raymond B. Mojares, Division Manager of Aklan-Capiz IMO, the attendees participated in the in-depth discussions and collaborative sessions, identifying key areas for growth and development. Mr. Edwin L. Traje, IA President, emphasized in his speech the need for cooperation from all officers and members of the association to ensure effective functioning.

The event fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose, highlighting the importance of teamwork in achieving sustainable progress. By the end of the workshop, a comprehensive plan was formulated, outlining actionable steps and specific objectives for the coming year. This reinforced CACOTADO IA, Inc.'s commitment to community development and empowerment in coordination with NIA's Institutional Development Programs.

The IA Assessment and Planning Workshop aligns with the 7-point strategic policy agenda of NIA Administrator, Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen, which includes strengthening the Irrigators’ Associations (IAs) by evaluating and monitoring their performance and enhancing their capabilities through capacity-building activities.
