October 2-3, 2024. The Negros Occidental Irrigation Management Office led by Acting Division Manager Engr. Edna Seńadoza, and Acting Chief for Engineering & Operations Section Engr. Sheila G. Perales conducted a 2-day training workshop on Information Education and Communication Production for IDP implementers at the NOIMO Conference Room. This training aims to strengthen and improve the skills of the Institutional Development Program implementers in preparing various types of communication tools and their processes as they continuously embark on a more innovative and receptive way of bringing information to the farmers.
The training was conducted with assistance from the NIA Regional Office VI Institutional Development Section’s Community Relations Chief B Ms. Joy A. Babierra and Sr. IDO Mr. John Raffy T. Hilario. A total of 18 dedicated SWRFTs and IDOs from the National and Communal Irrigation Systems have successfully completed the training.
The training is also one testament that the Institutional Development Unit of NOIMO is committed to developing its capability to be more equipped to bring quality service to the farmers.
