On 30 June 2025, the Department of Agriculture- Agricultural Credit Policy Council (DA-ACPC), in coordination with the National Irrigation Administration-Iloilo-Guimaras Irrigation Management Office, launched the Agri-Puhunan Program for eligible farmers of the Association in the province of Iloilo. The event held in Leganes and Pototan, Iloilo, represented a significant move to further strengthen agricultural activities, assisting farmers in pursuing growth opportunities through affordable financing.
This initiative will make accessible, affordable loans to qualified borrowers along the agricultural value chain to enable them to access their capital and enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability. Through this program, the agency will transform rural farming communities and promote sustainable agribusiness growth in the province of Iloilo.
