The National Irrigation Administration Region VI proudly congratulates Engr. Jonel B. Borres on his full-fledged appointment as Regional Manager!
On February 21, 2025, Engr. Borres officially took his oath during the Association of Regional Directors and Operations Managers (ARDOMA) meeting in Region 1, with NIA Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen administering the ceremony. NIA Regional Directors and Managers from across the country witnessed this milestone moment.
Before stepping into this role, Engr. Borres served as Acting Regional Manager of NIA VI while concurrently leading the Jalaur River Multipurpose Project—the largest irrigation project outside Luzon.
