The NIA Aklan-Capiz IMO successfully conducted a Training on Problem-Solving and Decision Making last October 25, 2024, at the NIA Aklan-Capiz IMO Conference Room in Linabuan Sur, Banga, Aklan.
The training aimed to equip the staff with essential analytical and decision-making skills to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Mr. Nicanor “Nick” O. Babiera, PhD, an experienced expert in organizational development and strategic management, led the training as the main resource speaker. Known for his enthusiasm and comprehensive approach, Dr. Babiera engaged participants with real-world examples that effectively illustrated the steps and techniques of problem-solving and decision-making. His interactive approach allowed participants to share experiences, collaborate on activities, and discuss strategies to address challenges they encountered in their respective roles.
Engr. Raymond B. Mojares, Division Manager of Aklan-Capiz IMO, opened the program with a welcome message on the value of continuous learning in public service, while Engr. Julieta E. Gallardo, Chief of the Engineering and Operations Section, closed the event by encouraging attendees to apply their newly learned skills.
The training shows NIA’s commitment to developing a skilled and proactive workforce that meets the community’s irrigation needs.
