NIA R6 CONDUCTS COMPREHENSIVE MAANAGEMENT REVIEW TO STRENGTHEN ISO STANDARDS

On October 3, 2024, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Regional Office VI led by Acting Regional Manager Engr. Jonel B. Borres conducted a Management Review for the regional office and all Irrigation Management Offices at the NIA RVI Conference Room, Tacas, Jaro, Iloilo City. The review focused on discussing the management review reports and findings from the ISO Core Teams of the regional office, as well as reports from various sections within the office.

The meeting was attended by key management personnel from the regional office, including Division Manager (DM) of Administrative and Finance Ms. Lyn Grace B. Causing, Acting DM of Engineering and Operations Engr. Rebecca F. Grana, and all section chiefs. In addition Division Managers from the Irrigation Management Offices (IMOs) were also present, Engr. Randy C. Alipis of Iloilo-Guimaras IMO, Engr. Bernard N. Castellano Antique IMO, and Engr. Raymond B. Mojares of Aklan-Capiz IMO. During the session, the core teams and sections presented their respective reports, addressing key performance metrics, challenges, and action plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the office's operations.

This management review is part of the NIA’s commitment to continuously enhance service delivery and uphold ISO standards in its processes and operations.
