Negros Occidental IMO holds Inter-Agency Convergence Meeting which involves Orientation on Contract Farming. This was led by Acting Division Manager, Engr. Edna L. Señadoza together with FIACN-BRIS President, Mr. Pedro P. Limpangog held at NOIMO Conference Room, Bago City on May 16, 2024.
The said orientation aimed to thoroughly engage the Irrigators Associations, LGUs, Phil Rice, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, National Food Authority and other line agencies in the implementation of this program which will commence this Wet Cropping Season in the north district of Bago River Irrigation System. The initial aggregate area is 41. 49 hectares being tilled by 25 farming households.
