It has been a productive week to get started with the One-Time Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) Cleansing for the Aklan-Capiz IMO, as mandated by COA Circular No. 2020-006 and as disseminated through NIA Memorandum Circular No. 110, Series of 2021.
The NIA-ACIMO Inventory Committee, led by the committee's Chairperson, Mr. Walter Mendoza, and with the full support of Engr. Raymond B. Mojares, ACIMO's Acting Division Manager, commenced the 90-day inventory of PPE on September 11, 2023. The activity is essential for overall operational success, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in the agency.
Keeping an accurate property inventory, following transparent procurement processes, and implementing effective equipment management practices all contribute to operational performance, cost savings, and sustainability.
