NIA Regional Office VI, headed by Engr. Rory F. Avance, Regional Manager A, together with Engr. Isaias C. Melendez, Division Manager A of Negros Occidental IMO; Engr. Robertino O. Lapena, Division Manager A of the Engineering and Operations Division at NIA Regional Office 6; Ms. Lyn Grace B. Causing, Division Manager A of the Administrative and Finance Division; and staff from R6 conducted the Mid-Year Assessment on Project Implementation for CY 2023 for NIA NOIMO at Campuestohan Highlands Resort, Talisay City, on July 20-21, 2023.
The assessment aims to come up with a comprehensive plan on how to fast-track project implementation and ensure the delivery of irrigation services to target beneficiaries; to come up with a clear picture of what has been done in each project as of June 30, 2023; to identify problems that hinder the attainment of targets and formulate their corresponding solutions; and to determine the need for additional manpower, equipment, and other resources to ensure the attainment of targets by the end of the year.
