COMPUTER LITERACY TRAINING TO BUILD NIANS' PROFICIENCY

NIA Region 6 Administrative Section organized a Computer Literacy Training for the employees to equip them with computer skills to increase productivity and proficiency in different Microsoft applications in the technology driven workplace.

In addition, the training also aims to meet the agency’s commitments to the Governance Commission on GOCC (GCG) as part of the Objective of adopting a Results-Based Performance Culture.

The participants were divided into 2 batches and attended the trainings last November 28-29, 2022 and December 1-2, 2022, respectively, in Westown Hotel, Mandurriaio, Iloilo City.

 

Ms. Janine P. Defante and Mr. Shem Durst Elijah Sandig from College of Information and Communications Technology of West Visayas State University were invited as lecturers to educate the participants with the basic functionality of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel applications.

Furthermore, the lecturers imparted their knowledge in data management and analysis, data validation, and ensuring data quality using structured referencing.
