The National Irrigation Administration Regional Office VI, headed by Engr. Rory F. Avance, held a 3rd Quarter Assessment for Project Implementation for Aklan and Capiz projects on October 13, 2022 at Aklan-Capiz Irrigation Management Office, Linabuan Sur, Banga, Aklan.
Present also in the activity were Division Managers from the Engineering and Operations Division and Administrative and Finance Division, in the person of Engr. Robertino O. Lapeña and Ms. Lyn Grace B. Causing.
During his message, Avance emphasized the need of the agency to accomplish all unpaid obligations, per directive of the Deputy Administrator for Administrative and Finance Sector. He challenged the IMO to have 100% financial accomplishment by the end of the December 2022, having 100% physical accomplishments on project implementation.
According to Engr. Lorena B. Sioco, Division Manager of ACIMO, the assessment served as training ground for the project-in-charge since the management required them to be equipped with ample knowledge from the preparation of Program of Work until the completion of each project.
After the assessment, Sioco thanked the Regional Office VI’s managers for their extended support and for the improvement of the field offices
