May 20, 2025 - The NIA Employees Association for Solidarity and Progress (NIAEASP) Regional Office VI Chapter celebrated its 38th anniversary with the theme “Working Together, Growing Stronger. Mahusay, Matapat, at Makabayan” through a general assembly at the NIA VI Gymnasium, Tacas, Jaro, Iloilo City.
NIAEASP PRO Engr. Kervy Barlis gave the program overview while Secretary Ms. Maria Hazel V. Dason acknowledged the attendees. Vice President Engr. Kenneth M. Lucine formally started the program with a welcome message to the active members attending the event.
The General Assembly was filled with informative presentations and updates on the current status of the association’s programs and funds. NIAEASP National Council President Mr. Ed Yu also gave a message virtually to all active members of the association in Region VI. Regional Manager Engr. Jonel B. Borres expressed his gratitude to NIAEASP and all the officers behind the event. In addition, RM Borres highlighted the solidarity and collaboration that the association fosters for the betterment of the agency and employees’ welfare.
NIAEASP Chapter President Ms. Maritess M. Bolinas presented the president’s report and facilitated the open forum, which was actively participated by the employees to discuss vital agreements and resolutions. Treasurer Mr. Anselmo E. Alorro gave the current financial status and report of the association’s funds, and Auditor Engr. Lucy Grace B. Improgo concluded with a closing message.
