In celebration of Fire Prevention Month this March 2022, NIA Regional Office VI held a Basic Fire Safety Seminar on March 11, 2022 to its newly formed Fire and Earthquake Brigade Organization.
The Bureau of Fire of Protection - Iloilo City (Alta Tierra, Jaro Sub-station) conducted the seminar and Fire Extinguishing/Fighting Demonstration led by Senior Fire Officer I (SFO 1) Russel Chavoso.
The NIA Regional Office Fire and Earthquake Brigade Organization is composed of 70 strong team members under 6 Different Teams (Communication, Medical/First Aide, Evacuation, Search and Rescue, Security and Traffic, and Fire Fighting) is led by its new Fire Chief, Verdin Paul Deocampo and Assistant fire Chief, Arnel Amadeo.
