Managing 12 National Irrigation Systems and over 1,000 Communal Irrigation Systems, NIA currently maintains a 59.84% irrigation development rate, driving increased crop yields in Western Visayas. The Solar Pump Irrigation Project, which is revolutionizing water access for over 1,000 farmers, and the monumental Jalaur River and Panay River Basin projects, set to irrigate tens of thousands of hectares, are being featured as key initiatives.

NIA’s proactive approach to climate resilience through innovative water management strategies is also in focus, ensuring that farmers are well-supported during extreme weather conditions.
