NIA REGION 6 CONDUCTED DATA RECONCILIATON AND REVIEW AND PLANNING WORKSHOP FOR PANAY RIVER INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (PRBIDP)

 

The proposed PRBIDP located in the Province of Capiz has the following objectives; to ensure that the region is self-sufficient and to significantly contribute to the attainment of the country’s rice production target based on the updated Farmers’ Satisfaction Survey (FSS) Roadmap.

The project components are infrastructure development, institutional & socio-economic development.

PRBIDP is currently under the Detailed Engineering and Design Stage. Some of the activities undertaken are survey and mapping and masterlisting of farmer beneficiaries/landowners within the proposed service area. After the full validation, all data must be reviewed and reconciled with the existing records of the field office and data from the approved feasibility study (FS).

The activity was headed by Engr. Robertino O. Lapeña, Division Manager for Engineering and Operations, Ms. Joy A. Babiera, Community Relations Chief C, with the participants from ACIMO (CAPIZ0 IMO, Engineering and Operations Staff, and Regional Office 6 personnel from Planning, Instituional Development, and Finance.
