The NIA Regional Office VI led by Acting Regional Manager Engr. Jonel B. Borres held the office’s annual Christmas Outreach program to give back to the community of Tacas, Jaro, Iloilo City on December 27, 2023.
A grocery package with essential goods and holiday food items was given to 150 chosen beneficiaries from the barangay. The activity is part of the NIA R6 Corporate Social Responsibility to its stakeholders including the community where the office is located.
As NIA strives to provide sufficient irrigation services to the farmers and improve the agricultural landscape, it also recognizes the importance of giving back to the community that supported the office in all its endeavors.
