On March 28-30, 2022, a Project Implementation Review and Planning Workshop for CY 2022 was conducted by NIA Region 6 to identify the constraints, issues and problems encountered during previous year project implementation and to prepare a strategic plan to avoid the occurrence of the same in the current year at Sea Garden Resort, Leganes, Iloilo.
The three-day workshop which was led by the Construction Management Section was attended by the different Irrigation Management Offices (IMOs) – Aklan-Capiz IMO, Antique IMO, Iloilo-Guimaras IMO, Negros Occidental who identified the different constraints, issues and concerns during the previous project implementation, in order to prepare a strategic plan to avoid the occurrence of the same in the current year.
Regional Manager Rory F. Avance also shared his experiences as a project-in-charge during his early years at NIA.
30 participants from the different IMOs together with their respective IMO Heads and 21 from the Regional Office were present during the workshop.
