NIA Negros Occidental IMO held 4th EPAHPP Convergence Team Meeting attended by Gov. Eugenio Jose “Bong” Lacson and staff, from Hospital Operation Department, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist and Provincial Social Welfare and Development, representatives from LGU Murcia and Moises Padilla, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Department of Agrarian Reform – Negros Occidental II, Department of Science and Technology, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Department of Trade and Industry, Land Bank of the Philippines, Department of Social Welfare and Development and Irrigators’ Association on July 19, 2022.
Product demand for rice was presented by HOD and BJMP which are potential for marketing of IA produce.
In his message the Governor said that “The collaborative effort of the government agencies to increase farm productivity and income, ensure food and nutrition security, and mitigate hunger and malnutrition, is the more responsive and strategic measure if we are to genuinely eradicate hunger and poverty in both urban and rural areas.”
NIA NOIMO Division Manager Isaias C. Melendez on the other hand looks forward to early forging of MOU and Marketing Agreement in most effective resources for the realization of EPAHPP purpose.
