NIA IGIMO ENHANCES INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

The National Irrigation Administration- Iloilo-Guimaras Irrigation Management Office continued to bridge competency gaps of employees through the conduct of training in Information Management held on May 30, 2024 at the RIM’s Quarter, NIA Region VI Compound, Brgy. Tacas, Jaro, Iloilo City.

In partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region VI, the employees of NIA-IGIMO were able to strengthen their cybersecurity awareness through a discussion delivered by Mr. Ernesto C. Kalaw, Planning Assistant of DICT RVI, further enhanced their knowledge in Data Privacy and the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) introduced by Mr. Elvin C. Bautista and Mr. James Lawrence D. Locara.

In his message, Engr. Randy C. Alipis, Division Manager A of NIA-IGIMO emphasized the importance of this training. He highlighted the important role of each employee in the effective information management and ensuring the smooth and efficient transaction within the office.
