NIA, IA, LGU CONVENE FOR A COORDINATION MEETING FOR CSRIP

A coordination meeting between the National Irrigation Administration (NIA), Local Government Unit (LGU), and the Irrigator’s Associations (IAs) for the Cabano Small Reservoir Irrigation System (CSRIP) convened on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the PDRRMC Conference Room, Jordan, Guimaras.

Progress of the project was discussed, and issues and concerns were addressed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by key personnel from NIA Iloilo-Guimaras IMO headed by Engr. Randy C. Alipis, Division Manager A; Ms. Catherine Ann L. Gaurana, MPDO of San Lorenzo, Guimaras; Ms. Rhodina M. Galve from the Office of the Congresswoman; Mr. Joseph G. Velagio from the Provincial Office for Agricultural Services; representatives from the Contractor; Irrigator’s Association Presidents; and Barangay Captains of the six barangays (Cabano, M.Chavez, Suclaran, San Enrique, Cabungahan, Aguilar) covered by the Cabano SRIP.
