National Irrigation Administration – Antique Irrigation Management Office (NIA-AIMO) held its 9th System Management Committee Meeting on September 24, 2024, at the Farmers Training Center in San Jose, Antique.
The gathering brought together AIMO staff, presidents of irrigators' associations (IAs), and their secretariats to discuss key agricultural initiatives and review the progress of ongoing projects.
The agenda focused on several critical topics, including the Proposed Programmed Area for Contract Farming for Calendar Year 2025, the Status of Farming Activities for CY 2024, and updates on ongoing projects. Additionally, the meeting addressed the status of the Lease of Irrigated and Planted Areas (LIPA), canal clearing, and condonation efforts. A presentation on the Proposed Cropping Calendar and Revised Water Delivery Distribution was also included, providing essential insights for future planning.
