The NIA-Aklan-Capiz IMO had a 3-day Review and Planning Workshop at Aklan Training Center, Old Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan on March 19-21, 2024.

A review of accomplishments from CY 2023 projects and prior years, planning and workshop for the implementation of the CY 2024 projects, and the planning of POW preparation of the proposed CY 2025 projects for the provinces of Aklan and Capiz were the highlight of the activity.

“Last year’s accomplishments will be a great challenge for the Office this year. The goal is to move up and improve more”, says Engr. Raymond B. Mojares, Division Manager A of NIA-Aklan-Capiz IMO during his message in the activity.

Engr. Julieta E. Gallardo, Engineering and Operations Section Chief, also emphasized the significance of everyone in the organization working toward the same objective, much like gears moving in the same direction as they serve their function. NIA's mission is to continue providing excellent services and developing climate change adapting projects for farmers in the provinces of Aklan and Capiz.

Review and planning workshops provide a platform for teams to brainstorm new ideas, experiment with different approaches, and challenge the status quo. By encouraging creativity and innovation, these sessions stimulate fresh thinking and drive positive change within the organization. This workshop aims to help the teams improve their performance and achieve positive results by providing an organized structure for reflection, goal-setting, collaboration, and development.
