NIA-AKLAN CAPIZ IMO HOLDS MANAGEMENT REVIEW TO DRIVE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

The NIA-Aklan-Capiz Irrigation Management Office (ACIMO) held its Management Review on October 1, 2024, to discuss the latest updates and results of the recent ISO audit. The meeting was attended by the Division Manager Engr. Raymond B. Mojares, alongside Engr. Julieta E. Gallardo, Chief of the Engineering and Operation Section, and Ms. Jorlyn F. Macavinta, Administrative and Finance Section Head. Representatives from various ISO Core Teams, as well as section and unit heads, were also present to review the audit findings.

Engr. Mojares shared his insights and recommendations, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement to maintain the high standards expected of an ISO-certified office. He encouraged collaboration among the teams to develop effective strategies to address any gaps identified in the audit.

 

In response to the findings, Engr. Gallardo, who also serves as the Chairperson of the ISO Planning Team, presented several corrective actions and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. Her presentation focused on streamlining internal workflows and refining team procedures to ensure better alignment with ISO standards. She also stressed the importance of implementing stricter monitoring mechanisms to meet project deadlines.

Representatives from the ISO Core Teams and section heads also shared their updates, highlighting how they are implementing changes within their respective areas to address the audit's findings. Key updates included the strengthening of internal communication strategies and the improvement of collaboration between departments.

The Management Review reaffirmed ACIMO’s commitment to excellence and ongoing improvement. The management team and staff reiterated their dedication to addressing the audit findings and ensuring sustained compliance with ISO standards moving forward.
