
A three-day seminar and workshop on Material Testing and Construction Quality Control was held from April 22 to 24, 2025, at the Aklan-Capiz IMO in Linabuan Sur, Banga, Aklan. Organized for the Project-in-Charge personnel, the event aimed to enhance technical skills and improve field practices aligned with quality standards.
With full support from Engr. Jonel B. Borres, the Regional Manager of NIA-Region VI, the training was successfully conducted under the leadership of Engr. Cyril B. Sabete, Principal Engineer, with Engr. Ryan Christopher P. Forro and Engr. Jayson J. Pagal, who shared their expertise on material testing, quality control procedures, and construction supervision.

Engr. Raymond B. Mojares, Division Manager of Aklan-Capiz IMO, and Engr. Marfred I. Carrillo, Head of the Construction Unit, also took part, emphasizing the importance of the training.
The program included two days of lectures and technical discussions, followed by a hands-on session. The workshop reinforced best practices and promoted consistent quality in infrastructure implementation.
