On May 15, 2025, the NIA Aklan-Capiz IMO conducted its Organizational Awareness Competency Program at the NIA-ACIMO Conference Room in Mambusao, Capiz. This activity is one of four key competency assessments for 2025 identified by the Administrative Section of NIA Regional Office VI. It aligns with Regional Office Memorandum No. 014, s. 2025, titled “2025 Commitment in Addressing Competency Gap” and NIA Memorandum Circular No. 176, s. 2023 on “Competency Assessment for CY 2023 and Years Thereafter.”
Engr. Julieta E. Gallardo, Chief of the Engineering and Operations Section of ACIMO, opened the program and highlighted the importance of the activity. She also introduced the concept of "W.A.T.C.H"—Willingness, Accept, Time, Caring, and Helping hand—as key traits for a strong organization.

The program aims to improve or maintain employee skills, support their daily tasks, and promote a deeper understanding of NIA’s structure, including its vision, mission, core values, quality policy, and programs.
Participants are also expected to gain clearer knowledge about NIA’s frontline services, including how they work, what is required, and their importance to the public.
