NIA-ACIMO HOLDS 3RD QUARTER PROJECT REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT FOR CY 2024

On September 25, 2024, the NIA Aklan-Capiz Irrigation Management Office (NIA-ACIMO) conducted its 3rd Quarter Review and Assessment for CY 2024 Projects. The event took place at the NIA-ACIMO Conference Room in Mambusao, Capiz, and was attended by key officials from the agency.

The assessment was led by Engr. Jonel B. Borres, Acting Regional Manager of NIA Region VI, alongside Engr. Rebecca F. Grana, Acting Division Manager of the Engineering and Operations Division (EOD), provided overall guidance on the progress of projects and initiatives. They were accompanied by Ms. Mary Ann G. Santander, Chief Corporate Accountant, who reviewed the financial status and expenditures of ongoing projects, along with other staff from the NIA-Region VI office.

 

Engr. Raymond B. Mojares, the Division Manager of NIA-ACIMO, and Engr. Julieta E. Gallardo, the Chief of the Engineering and Operation Section, actively participated in the assessment. During the activity, they discussed the status of infrastructure projects, performance targets, and the measures needed to address challenges encountered during the third quarter.

This quarterly review is vital to NIA's commitment to ensuring the timely and efficient execution of irrigation projects across Aklan and Capiz. The meeting served as a platform to assess project completion rates, troubleshoot issues, and realign strategies to meet the set goals for CY 2024.
