The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region VI welcomes its newly appointed Division Manager A for Iloilo-Guimaras Irrigation Management Office (IGIMO) in the person of Engr. Randy C. Alipis, who took his virtual Oath of Office on January 27, 2022, in Iloilo City.
Engr. Alipis' work experiences reflect his commitment to public service. He started working in NIA- Antique IMO as Utility Worker A in 1996. Through hard work and dedication, he has been an Acting Division Manager of the said office for seven (7) years from November of 2011. He then joined the employees of IGIMO as the Acting Division Manager A since his transfer on the 17th of January 2018.
His twenty-five (25) years of professional involvement in NIA shows his dedication to the attainment of NIA's Vision of contributing to the inclusive growth of the country and in the improvement of farmers' quality of life.
Engr. Alipis’ assumption of office took effect on December 22, 2021. As Division Manager A, he will lead the NIA-IGIMO to fulfill the goals of the agency and for the farmers of the provinces of Iloilo and Guimaras.
