
Negros Occidental Irrigation Management Office (NOIMO) conducts a 2-day Project, Planning and Development Training led by Engr. Edna L. Señadoza, NOIMO Acting Division Manager. It aims to equip its personnel with essential project planning and implementation knowledge. The training focuses on enhancing practical skills, promoting appropriate work values, and strengthening the participants’ ability to effectively manage and deliver development projects aligned with organizational mandates. A total of 30 participants take part in the training, including Engineers, Program of Works preparers, Project Planners, Project Designers, and Survey Teams, being held at the NOIMO Conference Room, Bago City on May 19 and 26, 2025.
Ms. Leizel P. Lectura, Chief Administrative Officer of the University of the Philippines Diliman, as Resource Speaker. Her expertise added valuable insights and practical frameworks for applying project management principles in the public sector
The program covers concepts what a project and how it differs from routine work, explore the phases of a project lifecycle, define the project scope aligned with mandated functions and draft a basic project scope and project completion report using the standard template.
By the end of the training, participants are required to submit scope statement aligned with NIA Quality Objectives, Stakeholder’s Map, Work Breakdown Structure, Risk Management and Communication Plan and draft Project Completion Report of previously completed projects.
