With full support from NIA Regional Office VI Acting Regional Manager Engr. Jonel B. Borres, Acting Division Manager Engr. Edna L. Señadoza led the NIA Negros Occidental IMO in conducting an Orientation for Environmental and Social Safeguard of Tyabanan SRIP.
The NIA Central Office facilitated the Orientation at the NOIMO Office in Bago City from May 16-19, 2024. The activity aimed to provide inputs for formulating the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plan for the proposed Tyabanan Small Reservoir Irrigation Project (SRIP), which has a total service area of 2,087 hectares in the Municipality of Hinobaan and the City of Sipalay, Negros Occidental.
