NEGROS IMO JOINS CAMPAIGN TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

The Negros Occidental IMO continuously joins the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and today, all employees wore orange wristbands to signify their commitment to a VAW-Free Community.

Women employees were reminded to empower themselves, to know their rights, and speak out while male employees were reminded to respect women and girls in their homes, workplaces, and communities.

The government’s advocacy for a journey toward a VAW-free Philippines from 2002 to the present was also discussed during the flag ceremony.
