
The Training on Contract Management and Site Supervision organized by the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Regional Office VI was designed with the primary objective of improving the competencies and expertise of employees from different Irrigation Management Offices across Region VI. The training conducted on April 3 - 5, 2024, at the Farmers Training Center in San Jose, Antique, offered an extensive platform for participants to explore essential elements of contract management and site supervision.
Throughout the duration of the training, participants engaged in various interactive sessions, and presentations facilitated by subject matter experts from NIA CO, Engr. Lawrence C. Mosqueda, Engr. Christian D. Galano and Engr. Queences A. Morales. These sessions covered a wide range of topics essential for effective contract management and site supervision, such as Contract Administration, Construction Program, Contract Time Extension, Suspension and Termination, Variation Orders, Monetary Claims, and Contract Implementation Process Flow.


Moreover, the training enhanced the participants' understanding and application of the concepts discussed. By fostering an interactive and immersive learning environment, the training equipped attendees with the necessary skills, tools, and knowledge to effectively manage contracts and supervise sites, thereby contributing to the successful implementation and completion of irrigation projects within Region VI.
