Pursuant to NIA Office Memorandum No. 47 S. 2024, signed by NIA Administrator Engr. Eddie G. Guillen on April 8, 2024, Engr. Edna L. Senadoza officially takes over the leadership of Negros Occidental IMO from outgoing Division Manager A Engr. Isaias C. Melendez during a management turnover ceremony held at the NIA Negros-Occidental Irrigation Management Office (NOIMO) Conference Room, Bago City, on April 19, 2023.
The said ceremony was led by NIA VI Acting Regional Manager Jonel B. Borres and attended by Regional Office Chiefs and staff, NOIMO personnel, Region VI IMO Division Managers, and the Federations of IAs in the Province of Negros Occidental.
Engr. Melendez has been with the NIA for 42 years, where he led the NIA NOIMO for 6 years. While, Engr. Edna L. Señadoza, Principal Engineer C, managed the Regional Office VI’s Operations Section. As the management shifts to a new leadership, NIA NOIMO commits continuous, efficient irrigation service to all its constituents.
