NIA Region VI’s Public Affairs and Information Staff just wrapped up a dynamic 3-day Digital Journalism Training in the breathtaking province of Guimaras.
With the expertise of Mr. Elsed S. Togonon, Linguist and Social Media Community Manager of Durungawan Media, our PR team sharpened their storytelling skills, refined documentation strategies, and explored new ways to connect with our most vital stakeholders—Filipino farmers.
From hands-on writing and photography exercises to mastering audience engagement, this training equips us to tell more powerful and authentic stories that highlight NIA’s impact on the ground. Because at NIA VI, we believe that every irrigation project is more than just infrastructure—it’s a lifeline for our farmers.
Through compelling narratives, we bridge the gap between innovation and agriculture—one story at a time!
Stay tuned for more inspiring stories from the field!
