BLESSING CEREMONY HELD FOR NEW O&M EQUIPMENT UNDER NIA'S RE-FLEETING PROGRAM

June 17, 2025 - The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Regional Office VI, under the leadership of Regional Manager A, Engr. Jonel B. Borres, held a blessing ceremony for its newly acquired heavy equipment and vehicles, received under the third tranche of the agency's re-fleeting program.

This initiative is part of the visionary national re-fleeting program spearheaded by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and NIA Administrator Engr. Eduardo “Eddie” G. Guillen, aimed at modernizing the agency’s operational capacity. NIA VI has recently received fifteen (15) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) units designed to enhance agricultural productivity and improve the efficiency of irrigation services across the region.

The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Father Angelo Colada and attended by Regional Manager Borres, Division Managers, Section Chiefs, and key personnel from the Regional Office, Irrigation Management Offices, and the Jalaur River Multi-Purpose Project Stage II (JRMP II).
