44 Irrigators’ Associations joined the Annual Clean-up and Closure of Bago River Irrigation System North District last March 01, 2023. The said activity was led by Engr. Isaias C. Melendez, Division Manager A of Negros Occidental IMO together with Mr. Pedro P. Limpangog, President of Federation of Irrigators’ Association Central Negros – Bago River Irrigation System, Inc. (FIACN-BRIS) and members.
The Local Government Unit of Bago City sent its 1 unit backhoe and dump truck to facilitate the hauling of garbage collected from the irrigation canal. This is a yearly program of NOIMO and FIACN-BRIS, Inc. to facilitate the maintenance and inventory of irrigation canals and structures in preparation for the next cropping season.
