In order to bring out higher competence and capability, the Aklan-Capiz Irrigation Management Office in the province of Aklan held a two-day Interpersonal Communication Skills Training to its personnel on May 4-5, 2022 at the Aklan State University Review Center, Banga, Aklan.
Communication is a huge part of the industry, especially when working with team or members of the public. Developing good interpersonal skills can help support career satisfaction, hones one’s own abilities, and help in leveling up the agency’s services.
Mrs. Maria Fe A. Ricamonte, a Senior High School teacher from the Regional Science High School for Region VI served as the resource speaker for the entirety of the training-workshop. Through the methods she used, the participants were able to integrate the types of communication and use them especially when dealing with clients and other stakeholders. Apart from interpersonal communication, Ricamonte also discussed about grammar in the context of technical writing which greatly helped the employees ready for the upcoming Civil Service Examinations.
After the training-workshop, ACIMO Division Manager Engr. Lorena B. Sioco thanked the speaker, as well as the active participation of her constituents. Engr. Sioco aspires that the completion of the training expects to show improvement or manifest consistency in the personnel aptitude.
