On October 24, 2022, the National Irrigation Administration- Iloilo-Guimaras Irrigation Management Office (NIA-IGIMO) Division Manager A, Engr. Randy C. Alipis, Ms. Edelita Diane, and the honorable Mayor Jett C. Rojas of the local government unit of Ajuy signed the tripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) during the turnover ceremony of Tanduyan Communal Irrigation Systems to the municipality of Ajuy held in Ajuy Covered Gym.
The MOA states the duties and responsibilities of each party in the Tanduyan Communal Irrigation System.
This activity is for the implementation of Executive Order 138 series of 2021 which mandates the devolution of certain functions of the executive branch to the local government units.
Present are the local officials headed by Mayor Jett C. Rojas, members of Tanduyan Communal Farmers IA Inc., and NIA personnel headed by Engr. Randy C. Alipis, Division Manager A of IGIMO.
