Negros Occidental IMO turned over Lower Sicaba Solar Pump Irrigation Project to Candelaria Farmers Irrigators' Association led by its President, Corazon C. Dumasig at Brgy. Purisima, Manapla, Negros Occidental on December 9, 2022.
The Solar Pump Irrigation covers up to 20has. service area. With the solar pump irrigation system the farmers have now the options to cultivate rice, vegetables and other crops that will increase their income.
Escalante Mayor Hon. Manuel M. Escalante III., graced the ceremony and he challenged the farmers to maximize the operations of the newly turned-over project.
