
The Administrative Section of the National Irrigation Administration Region VI has exceeded its 2025 target in achieving the required employee competencies.
The initiative aims to strengthen competency-based recruitment and employee development. Through the implementation of well-structured and scholarly training programs, employees’ knowledge and skills have been significantly enhanced.
Under the leadership of Section Chief Maritess M. Bolinas, the Administrative Section set a target of 82% for 2025 and attained a remarkable 91.64% accomplishment rate. This achievement demonstrates NIA Region VI’s strong management practices and its commitment to fostering continuous professional growth among its workforce.
Regional Manager Engr. Jonel B. Borres has consistently demonstrated strong support for employee welfare initiatives, ensuring efficient and productive public service, particularly in the development of irrigation within the farming sector.
