• The National Irrigation Administration Aklan-Capiz Irrigation Management Office (ACIMO), under the management of ACIMO Division Manager Engr. Lorena B. Sioco, turned over the Buenavista Communal Irrigation Project (CIP) to Buenavista Irrigators Association on March 3, 2022 held at Brgy. Buenavista, Ibajay, Aklan.

  • The Bago RIS (BRIS) – South District greets 2022 with a bountiful harvest from dry cropping season that started October last year and will end within March of this year. The South District has 22 IAs (covering the municipalities of Valladolid, San Enrique and Pulupandan, and the cities of La Carlota and part of Bago) with a FUSA of 6,142.38 hectares and actual irrigated area of 5,392.29 hectares for this season.

  • Executive Order No. 138 s. 2021 emphasizes the devolution of specific functions, services, and facilities of the National Government Agencies (NGAs) to Local Government Units not later than the end of FY 2024. These functions shall include those devolved responsibilities indicated in section 17 of RA 7160 and Section 31 of RA 8435.

  • The Negros Occidental Irrigation Management Office led by its Division Manager, Engr. Isaias C. Melendez and the Bago RIS Federation of Irrigator’s Associations led by its President, Mr.

  • The Negros Occidental Irrigation Management Office (NOIMO) joins the National Women’s Month Celebration with the Theme: “We Make Change Work for Women” and Sub-theme “Agenda ng Kababaihan, Tungo sa Kaunlaran”.

    The celebration is in recognition of women’s role and contribution in Nation Building and as agents for national development. NOIMO employees wear purple on all Tuesdays of March to signify support to women empowerment and gender equality.
