• On November 4-5, 2021, the National Irrigation Administration Region VI held the first batch of the 2-day workshop for the Regional Office employees to improve their Technical Writing competency.

    The activity was held in compliance with the Memoranda from the office of the Administrator and Manager of the Administrative Department to address the competency gap and to conduct an intervention for improvement of required competency skills.

  • To provide sufficient and improved irrigation services to the farmers, the National Irrigation Administration Aklan-Capiz Irrigation Management Office (ACIMO), headed by Engr. Lorena B. Sioco, Division Manager A and Irrigators’ Association of Aklan River Irrigation System (RIS) meet for the NIA-IA Operations & Maintenance (O&M) End Season & Planning Conference in November 5, 2021, at ACIMO, Linabuan Sur, Banga, Aklan.

  • The Irrigators’ Associations primarily are organized to effectively manage the operation and maintenance of the Irrigation System after project completion. To achieve a harmonious relationship among members, there must be proper organization management. A Proper delineation of duties and responsibilities as well as the implementation of rules and regulations plays a vital role in achieving the organization’s objectives.

  • NIA Region VI held a 2-day re-orientation seminar for its Operations and Maintenance Personnel from October 28-29, 2021 at the NIA Regional Office VI in Iloilo City. The Operations Section of the Engineering and Operations Division spearheaded the activity.

  • NIA IMO staff met with Sipalay, Negros Occidental LGU as a Courtesy call with the Sipalay City Mayor, Hon. Ma. Gina M. Lizares.
