Construction of Bench Flume of SSJIS is on Track

NIA Antique IMO continues to fast-track construction of 549-m bench flume of Sibalom-San Jose Irrigation System at Sibalom, Antique despite the threat of the Delta Variant in the province. As of August 20, 2021, 300 meters of bench flume was already constructed. This is 70.07% actualbproject accomplishment against the 61.63% target. Construction started on June 9, 2021 and is targeted to be completed on November 5, 2021. Upon completion, 300 farmer beneficiaries of SIHAMSA South (Sibalom-Hamtic-San Jose IA) willbenefit from this project helping provide water to 565 hectares of farmland. This project is funded under the Climate Change Adaptation Works (CCAW) NIS 2021 and is under contract with HMM Builders & Construction Supply.
