The farmers of Jalaur River Extension Federation of Irrigators' Associations (IA) in the province of Iloilo harvest their first produce from the model farm.

    Amidst the pandemic, these will help them venture into other high-value crops aside from rice to increase their income and at the same time utilize spaces available in their places.

  • The National Irrigation Administration Aklan-Capiz Irrigation Management Office (ACIMO) conducted a meeting on the proposed marketing agreement in support to Enhanced Partnership

    Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) program. The meeting was held at ACIMO Conference Room, Linabuan Sur, Banga, Aklan on October 8, 2021.

  • The construction of the check dam of Wayang Communal Irrigation Project (CIP) in Brgy. San Jose, Miag-ao, Iloilo was completed on August 12, 2021.

    The 9.3Million project was funded under the Small Irrigation Project (SIP) of the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) and aims to serve 20 hectares of farmland of 32 farmer-beneficiaries of the municipality of Miag-ao, Iloilo.

  • Republic Act No. 10969, also known as Free Irrigation Service Act (FISA) is a law that aims to provide vital support in lowering the farmers’ cost of production while increasing agricultural productivity through the provision of efficient and reliable free irrigation service. President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed the law on February 2, 2018, and became effective on February 24, 2018.

  • Irrigators’ Associations (IA) all over the Province of Antique with existing IMT contracts are simultaneously conducting their canal clearing activities in preparation for Dry Crop 2022. Canal clearing activities were conducted last September 3, 2021. These activities are part of the commitment of IAs to the Irrigation Management Transfer (IMT) contract, which they have signed with the National Irrigation Administration (NIA).
